Family Planning Clinic

Appointments with GP.  Dr Ramadan specialises in family planning including fitting IUD/IUS(coils) and contraceptive implants (Nexplanon).  Pill checks and coil checks can be booked with the Practice Nurse.

 

Child Immunisations

Wednesday 1.30pm to 16.30pm

All new babies are invited for regular immunisations from 8 weeks old. This clinic is run by the Practice Nurse

Diabetes

 Dr Khan is our Diabetic Lead and specialises in Diabetes. Diabetic checks can be booked with the Practice Nurses

Asthma and COPD

Dr Ramadan is our Respiratory Lead and specialises in Asthma and COPD. Practice nurse appointments can be booked to provide advice and support to patients suffering from Asthma / CCOPD

Minor Surgery

plasteronkneeMinor operations are carried out by  Dr Ramadan and Dr Khan in our Treatment Room.   Please discuss with the doctor who will arrange for you to have an appointment

Travel Vaccinations

Please ensure you allow enough time before travelling. When making the appointment please advise the receptionist of where  you are travelling to, when and for how long. The Practice Nurse  will assess and advise you over the phone before seeing you for the vaccination. Some vaccines are not funded by NHS and you will have to pay for Private vaccinations e.g. Hepatitis B and Meningococcal ACWYC . Also request for antimalarial drugs private prescriptions will incur a charge. Please see the section on travel information for further travel advice.

Phlebotomy

Blood tests are available everyday from 08.30 to 11.30

Health Trainer

This clinic is led by a health trainer from Living well on Wednesdays every 2 weeks. You can book appointments with the health trainer if you want advise on diet, stop smoking, weight management etc.
