Training Practice

We are a “Training Practice” which means we will have GP Registrars.  These are fully qualified experienced doctors who have previously worked mainly in hospitals. They are required to work for 12 months in General Practice prior to becoming a GP.  Part of this training involves videoing themselves during their consultations with patients. This will be viewed only by the Registrar themselves and the GP Trainer and is for training purposes only. You may be asked for your permission for the Registrar to video your consultation. We will respect your wish not to be videoed without question.

You will be told on arrival at the surgery if a trainee is with the GP you have come to see.  If you do not want the trainee present during your consultation, please inform the receptionist and GP.
